Penis Hygiene
So, I want to share with you about the two different kinds of penises that there can be. What, you say, there are two different kinds of penises? Yea, one is called circumcised and the other is called uncircumcised. So let me tell you a little about that and some of the hygiene things that you might need to know. First, everyone is born uncircumcised. So let me explain. The easiest way to explain is to imagine that my arm is a penis. And everybody comes into the word with a penis that has little bit of skin covering the end of their penis and that skin is called a foreskin. And for people in puberty who have a foreskin, it's important to know that that skin can be moved back away from the head of the penis and that its important to clean underneath and keep that part clean. Also during puberty, when boys get erections, they have to actually practice pulling that skin back so that it stretches across the head of the penis. Now that's called the uncircumcised penis. They have this skin to move across the head of the penis. Now the other way penises can be is circumcised. Now the way that works is soon after someone is born, a doctor would come in and they would make sure this part of the body, the penis, is numb so that the baby can't feel it. And then they would take that skin and do a little surgery and remove that skin. And that person, whether their penis is relaxed or if they have an erection, the head of the penis is always out. Now they too have to make sure they keep that part of their body clean, but they don't have that skin that moves back and forth. Now the good thing about circumcised and uncircumcised penises is that they both pretty much work the same way.
