Sweating and Acne
Romantic feelings. That's another feeling that people might notice in puberty. It's pretty common to start noticing who you like. And having…some people call them "crushes." So, one day you might say to yourself "Wow, I really like that girl over there, she's pretty neat." The next day you're like "Oh, I like that boy over there, he's pretty cool." Then you're suddenly like, "I don't like any of these people, they're driving me crazy!" So, it's important to know that just because you notice who you like during puberty, does not mean who you're going to spend the rest of your life with. Some people they find out that they like women and they're a woman. What do we call that? That's called a lesbian relationship. Some people they realize that they're a man and they enjoy spending time with men. That's called a gay relationship or homosexual. Some people are men and they like women or they're women and they like men and we call that a straight relationship, or heterosexual. And sometimes people notice that they sometimes like men and sometimes they like women. That could be someone called bisexual. During puberty people start to notice, or maybe they already know inside themselves who they really like. You don't have to tell anyone, but you could if you want to. But crushes and romantic feelings are pretty normal during this time, as well.
