Changes and when they start
So, we're going to talk about all the changes that happen for everyone during puberty. Most of the changes DO happen to everyone - boys and girls. There are a lot of things that happen to people's bodies, both physically and emotionally during puberty. So, when does puberty start? A lot of people wonder. A lot of people wonder when they're going to start growing. And they also wonder if the changes that are happening to them are normal. Well, let me give you a clue. Puberty often starts between the ages of 9 and 15. But it's important to note that for some people it's even as early as 8 or as late as 16. And who do you think starts puberty first, boys or girls? Well, you may have noticed, the girls are a head taller than the boys in 5th grade, but don't worry boys, you'll catch up. Another important point is that some people may start puberty early if their parents did. So, if you're related to the people in your home, you might wanna ask them, "What was it like when you were growing up? When did puberty start for you?"
